October 2026: NextKon Screen, our own video library, one account for everything – and the English edition
In October the building blocks came together: one NextKon account for Chat, video library, Screen and Expo, a pricing page with self-service booking, a user guide for every module, and all pages in English. Here is what changed from a customer's point of view.
- NextKon Screen: New in the range: digital name signs for the lectern, the panel and the room on any screen with a browser – smart TV, Fire TV, Raspberry Pi or laptop. Type a name and the sign is created from your template, or upload finished signs as images. Move logo, accent bar and text in the layout editor. The Annual Pro package includes the ProPlayer Backup, which keeps switching signs in the room if the internet connection fails. User guide at nextkon.de/en/screen/anleitung/.
- NextKon VOD: The video library is up and running: upload videos in your account, they are converted automatically into three quality levels and appear in your own library – with a page for each talk and iframe embedding. - NextKon Chat: Question mode: participants mark messages as questions and vote for the questions of others; the moderator sees them sorted by votes and ticks off what has been answered. Plus pre-approval for sensitive sessions, interface in German or English per chat, history as CSV and the data processing agreement signed with one click in the admin view. In the load test on 1 October, 2,000 participants ran simultaneously without errors.
- NextKon Expo: User guide at nextkon.de/en/expo/anleitung/, a 50-second explainer video on the Expo page and three exhibition set templates to browse and download as PDF. The Event Plus and Annual packages include cookie-free visitor statistics per stand and a PDF report for exhibitors.
- NextKon account: One account for everything: after registering you reach Chat, video library, Screen and Expo from a shared menu. A test chat (2 chats, up to 10 participants, 14 days), the video library and a click-through Expo demo are ready straight away. The team answers questions at [email protected], and you request quotes via the enquiry form.
- nextkon.de: Pricing page nextkon.de/en/preise/ with all packages for Chat, video library, Screen and Expo. Chat day passes and subscriptions, the video library and Screen can be booked directly in your account and paid via PayPal; introductory prices apply to bookings until 31 December 2026.
- NextKon Classic: New NextKon Classic section for the purely in-person conference: hall and media technology from a single provider, with media check-in for your speakers so that every presentation is on the right computer on the day.
- nextkon.de: All sections, the pricing page and the account are now available in English at nextkon.de/en/. Chat and Expo can be switched to English per event.
- nextkon.de: Free guides (in German) at nextkon.de/ratgeber/ – to read online and as PDF –, a growing glossary on conferences, hybrid events and live streaming, and dedicated pages for associations, universities and local authorities.
